Supports and Rafts

Rafts

The raft is the plattform underneath your print. It is especially helpful in combination with the supports, since those have difficulties to hold to the plate/paper.

Supports

supports are supporting the print during the printing process and are breakaway structures. They are needed for all the overhang parts of your prints which would otherwise be printed in air air or with a difficult angle. The print temperature influences the supports, it is helpful to print the same print with a few different temperatures to determine a good temperature for your print and the supports. With my printer I can unfortunately not select them seperately.
